LoBo occupies home spaces with the intention of creating a dialogue, community and support network for artists at all stages of their careers. Responding to the unique architecture and nature of each home allows LoBo to curate site specific and interdisciplinary projects while fostering new relationships.

Founded by two former college roommates, Morgan McAllister and Nicole Castaldo, who connected through their writing and studio practices. Friends for 6 years they have always fantasized about working together. LoBo is that fantasy manifested.

Morgan McAllister (right) earned her BFA in Painting from SUNY Purchase College, NY and her MFA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
